Why the Blue Hour?
The Blue Hour is the time of day when the sun is just below the horizon and the sky turns blue before becoming the black of night, or in the morning, the stark bright of day. I love the quiet beauty of that light, but also the mystery of what is coming. It’s also a reminder of the flow of time. We are trained to think of day and night—and yin and yang—as opposites but they are an endless cycle, one into the other. Joined and dependent, yet always distinct.
